Fedora is an Operating System. It is a set of projects integrated together. It is Red Hat sponsored project. This is developed in collaboration with some open source developers and Red Hat engineers.
The real aim of fedora is to speed up the open source development and its rapid progress. This is very necessary so that even those who are not able to afford license software can also use and contribute in the field. There must be no restriction on usage and licensing issues.
