Blogging Habit

In this blog of mine I will like to bring light to one of the habits that I have learned from CDAC after joining the FPGDST course। I used to write blogs even when I had not come here. But the entire motive of those blogs was different form what it had been here.

Earlier I used to write blogs on some topics which were of my interest and some of those which were in my course. I would usually make some notes on the topics of my course and post them on my blog so that everyone in the class can benefit from those. We had various kinds of subjects like some were computer related, other were management related. I would always prefer to surf the net and make notes for the computer subjects and post them on my blog space from where everyone could just access them. I return I would take management subject notes from my friends. Also some times I used to write about some topics that interested me.

My blog writing was confined to just getting some interesting topic of my choice and then searching about it to increase my knowledge and then write my own views about it.

After coming here I followed the same practice of writing the blogs with topics that interested me by searching about them and writing my own views about those topics.

One fine day we had our MGPA(machine graded programing assignment test), after coming out of the exam hall I found that many students had gathered around the student notice broad. So naturally I also proceeded towards to find out what has happened. Our TCOM grades for the blogs evaluation had been put up. Mostly everyone was shouting that they had failed. I thought I might have passed in the subject as I had been doing this for quite long now. But to my surprise I had also got a FAIL grade.
Also along with the grade I had a remark stating that I had copied. Also the name of the web site from which I had taken the points of my last blog was written there.

Later in the evening I located my TCOM faculty and discussed with there that what was wrong with my blogs that I had completely failed in the entire evaluation. The only thing I was told that because I had copied something in even one of my blogs thats why the whole evaluation will be
considered as a big zero.

I felt so frustrated for failing in the evaluation even though I had not copied much as compared to my fellow colleagues some of whom had copied the entire pages. I also stood on the same ground as they were on.

Since then I thought of writing my blogs more sincerely and with some better topics. So that I may pass in my next evaluation. I chose some topics of interest and till now have written on them hoping for a good result, till one fine day we nearing our term-end and I happened to question my faculty that how many more blogs I have to write in order to satisfy the needs for the evaluation. The answer I expected from here was to be some particular figure. But the answer was 'You have to Write blogs all your life now so that the world will know you and know what You think.....'

I have read a lot of Raman sir's blogs. I am deeply impressed by the way he maintains his blogs even after a tight shedule and is able to convey his views to the world.

I would also like to inculcate such a blogging Habit in me so that people can know more about me....
